Rental Set Selection

Please proceed to the pre-reservation form for either a ski set or a snowboard set.

As of November 21, 2024,
we are accepting pre-reservations for the pickup period from
December 13, 2024 to
December 21, 2024.

・Only one set of rental items can be accepted for each user.

・A credit card is required to apply for this PICK UP BOX RENTAL.

・The person who will be using the rental gear does not need to be the same person as the name on the credit card used for payment.

・To apply, you must agree to the Rental Terms.

・If there are no rental units available at the PICK UP BOX, and make a reservation through the "Regular Rental" option.

・The PICK UP BOX RENTAL does not accept applications for premium skis or snowboards.

・The PICK UP BOX RENTAL does not accept applications for rentals for multiple days. Reservation can only be made for one day.

The PICK UP BOX is a service that allows customers to pick up rental items that are ready for use from the PICK UP BOX installed on the 3rd floor of KAWABANGA (Center House ・ Shinkansen Station Building) at Gala Yuzawa Ski Resort and use them for skiing immediately. Please note that applications for this PICK UP BOX are accepted until 23:00 (Japan time) two days prior to the date of use.

Note:
The PICK UP BOX cannot be used as a locker. Please use the locker room on each floor to store your clothes and luggage.

Overview of the Service

  • The basic rental items are a three-piece ski set (board-boots-poles) or a two-piece snowboard set (board-boots).
  • You can optionally rent skiwear (top and bottom set), gloves, a knit cap, goggles, and a helmet in addition to the above sets.
  • Application for the PICK UP BOX rental can only be made through this website.
  • The pickup time for rental items is from 7:40 AM to 1:00 PM on the day of use. Please pick up the rental items during this time slot.
  • To apply, you must make an online payment with a credit card on this page. Applications without online payment will not be accepted.

  • Reservations can be made for one set per day per user.
  • The person who uses the rental items does not need to be the same person as the name on the credit card used for payment.
  • If you apply for a rental for more than 2 days, you must first complete the application (reservation payment) for one day of use, and you can select your additional usage days for reservation after that.

  • When making a reservation, you must agree to the "Rental Terms and Cancellation Policy". You can view this by closing this window and selecting the "Rental Application & Reservation" menu.

1. Please apply for our rental service with the understanding that skiing and snowboarding are dangerous sports.

2. Only the person who applies for the rental is allowed to use the rental equipment.

3. You agree in advance that the "Ski-Binding-Boot System" or "Snowboard-Binding-Boot System" does not guarantee the user's safety completely.

4. Users who do not agree not to file a claim or lawsuit against GALA Yuzawa Ski Resort, our service (FISCHER SNOW BASE), or its employees for damages or injuries caused by the use of rental equipment will not be permitted to use the rental equipment.

5. If the customer chooses not to receive part of the rental service due to personal reasons, or no longer needs the rental in the middle of the rental period, it will be considered a waiver of rights by the customer, and no refunds will be made in any case.

6. Once the rental equipment is lent out, it is under the management of the customer. In the event of theft, mix-up, loss, or damage, we may charge you a reasonable amount.

7. Our service is not responsible for any injuries incurred during skiing or snowboarding, or caused by handling the rental equipment. (We recommend that you take out your own insurance.)

8. If you return the equipment after the agreed return time due to personal reasons, we may charge a late fee of 1,000 yen per hour.

9. Our service does not allow for exchanges or refunds after the equipment has been used, except for the cases of defects or malfunction in the equipment. Please try on the equipment before using it.

10. We may use the personal information obtained through this system for application procedures or contact with customers.
